About
Jennifer Davenport grew up in Wyckoff, New Jersey, a suburb of New York City. From an early age, Jennifer was interested in writing and storytelling, and by her senior year in high school, she had finished the first draft of Anna Begins. She attended Drew University, where she majored in English and began a serious interest in Narrative Theory. She finished Anna Begins while at Drew, and had the good fortune to hook up with Jerry Gold at Black Heron Press after shopping Anna around for close to three years.
She can be found, more recently, working in K-12 independent schools (presently Riverdale Country School), supporting Technology, which she sees as just another way to work with narratives.
She is working on several writing projects, including a new book.
